Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi released NDA government's report card of last 55-month in Patna on July 9, 2010
Releasing the report card Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar said the state had achieved a growth rate of16.59 per cent during 2008-09 and had potential to sustain it to make it rank among developed states by 2015.
He said he was extremely happy to know that according to Central Statistic Office reports the state had achieved agrowth rate of 16.59 per cent.
He said change was visible in all sectors, including health and education. The number of dropouts in schools had declined from 25 lakh to seven lakh and that his government's scheme of distributing bicycles was well received, he added.
