Union Minister of State for Power Bharatsinh Solanki in Patna


Union Minister of State for Power Bharatsinh Solanki said the power situation in Bihar would improve by 2012 when allocation from Central sectors would go up to 3000 MW.
Solanki was addressing a press conference in Patna on June 30, 2010.
Bihar is at present getting 1646 to 1692 MW against its daily average demand of 3000 MW.
Earlier Sonalki reviewed the progress of the Restructured Accelerated Power Development Programme (R-APDRP) and the Rajiv Gandhi Gramin Vidyutikaran Yojana (RGGVY) in Patna.
