Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Bihar Unit organized Minority Conference at SK Memorial Hall in Patna on August 7, 2010 in a bid to lure minorities to the saffron fold before the Bihar Assembly election. Top BJP leaders including its state president Dr CP Thakur, Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, MP Shahnawaz Hussain and others participated in the meeting.Speaking on the occasion Hussain said BJP is not against Islam but opposes terrorists.
