Shahi Imam of Jama Masjid Syed Ahmed Bukhari arrived in Patna on August 8, 2010 to launch a third front for effectively taking on the RJD-LJP combine and the NDA led by Nitish Kumar. Later talking to media Bukhari accused the successive Congress, RJD and NDA governments in Bihar with "cheating the Muslims.
He said he was here to explore the forging of alliance with parties and organisations and groups with secular backgrounds. "I will hold marathon discussions with them to rope in," he said.
Dadan Pahalwan and Abu Quaiser received Bukahri at JP international airport.
