Campaigning ends for second phase of Bihar Assembly election




It was another busy day at the state hanger of the Patna airport on October 22, 2010 where leaders of different political parties gathered to board their respective choppers and fly out of Patna to attend election meetings as it was the last day of campaigning for the second phase of Bihar Assembly election. Union minister and Congress leaders Sachin Pilot, Ashok Gehlot, RJD leader Shakeel Ahmad Khan and Tejashwi Prasad, son of RJD chief Lalu Prasad were seen talking with the media at the airport.

Meawhile, campaigning for the second phase of poll for 45 Bihar Assembly seats ended on October 22, 2010. The second phase of the Bihar Assembly election will be held on October 24. Altogether 99.49 lakh voters will decide the fates of 623 candidates in East Champaran, Sheohar, Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur districts.
