BN College students boycotted the classes in protest against the expulsion of 21 students by the Patna University authorities in Patna on August 31, 2009. The students were expelled for alleged manhandling with senior teachers of the college inside the principal chamber on Wednesday last. Security put on high alert to avoid further escalation of violence on the campus.
