Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar presided over a meeting of State Health Mission in Patna on April 7, 2011. Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, Bihar Health Minister Ashwini Kumar Choubey and Bihar Rural Development Minister Nitish Mishra attended the meeting.State Health Secretary Amarjeet Sinha said the Bihar Government had launched a New Generation Health Guarantee Scheme aiming to make available health cards to 3.40 crore children in the state. During the meeting the Chief Minister stressed the need for accelerating the pace of reaching the health cards to the children.
