RJD releases first list of candidates for Jharkhand Assembly election


Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president Lalu Prasad released the list of 22 candidates of the 30 constituencies going to polls in the first phase of assembly electionin Jharkhand to be held on November 25.
He said that RJD had left five seats for LJP and three for CPI and CPI-M, while talking to reporters at a press conference in Patna on November 5, 2009.
He further said RJD had arrived at a seat-sharing accord with these three parties and the alliance would prove to be a viable alternative in Jharkhand.

  1. Jharkhand polls start today and it's amazing that even after so much corruption, 108 candidates with tainted records are being projected by the political parties in the first phase itself.
