Bihar Homeguard jawans staged demonstration in Patna on November 23, 2009 in support of their long-pending demands. A spokesman of the striking homeguards said that dharna would continue until the demands were met.The demands include permanent appointment, pension and gratuity after retirement, hike in daily allowances and appointment of women homeguards.
