Government Railway Police nabbed the kingpin of a gang, who had been involved in robbing of railway passengers by mixing sedative in foods and drinks, in Patna on November 7, 2009. Kingpin Ajit Kumar Singh was said to be a suspended employee of Bihar Police.Police also arrested another accomplice Ekram of Muzaffarpur.
