Patna: Bihar Government has decided to regularise the services of daily wage employees, who have been working in different state government departments since 2006, following a High Court order.
The State Government has to file an affidavit in the High Court in this regard.
With this decision, about 10000 daily wage employees will be benefited.
It's learnt that the general administration department has sought the details of daily wage employees who have been working in different department from 2006 to 2016.
Earlier, the government had regularised the services of daily wage workers till 1990.
The High Court in its order has asked the government to give permanent employees status to daily wage workers and absorb them in respective departments.
