Nitish Kumar Donates One Month’s Salary to Bihar CM's Relief Fund

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary visited former Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, now a Rajya Sabha member, at his residence on Circular Road in Patna on September 24, 2026, and paid him a courtesy call.

During the meeting, Nitish Kumar handed over a cheque equivalent to one month's salary to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund. MLC Lallan Sarraf also presented a cheque equivalent to one month's salary to the Chief Minister's Relief Fund.

During the interaction, Choudhary briefed Nitish Kumar on the flood situation in the state and the relief and rescue operations being undertaken. The two leaders also discussed the ongoing flood relief efforts.
