Patna Hosts 20th Rozgar Mela; 275 Youths Receive Government Appointment Letters

Patna: The Income Tax Department organized the 20th Rozgar Mela (Job Fair) on September 19, 2026 at the Adhiveshan Bhawan in Patna. Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the event via video conferencing. As part of the 20th phase of the nationwide Rozgar Mela, appointment letters were handed over to more than 51,000 newly recruited youths across 45 locations. In Patna, appointment letters were awarded to 275 candidates from 12 different government departments. Union Minister of Textiles Giriraj Singh attended the event as the chief guest; other dignitaries present included Bihar's Minister of Cooperation Ram Kripal Yadav, Members of the Bihar Legislative Assembly Kundan Kumar and Sanjay Kumar, as well as senior officials from the Income Tax Department.
