Fun and frisk mark New Year in Patna

Despite the bone-chilling cold coupled with shivering westerly and foggy morning residents of Patna welcomed the first day of the New Year with fun and frolic.

The day began with Dev Darshan and Pujan in different temples by Patnaites while thousands of revellers rushed to their favoured picnic spots to celebrate the New Year with their families as the day progressed. Patna Zoo, ancient ruins of Kumhrar and Ganga ghats and newly constructed parks attracted the crowd most.
