CPI-ML(liberation) general secretary Dipankar Bhattacharya released a book " Green Hunt is Witch Hunt, Resist It" in Patna on May 16, 2010.Later talking to media Bhattacharya criticised the Orissa police action against the dharna of farmers and fishermen opposed to POSCO's plan to build a steel plant in Jagatsinghpur district.
"Police assault on the Posco Pratirodh Sangharsh Samiti (PPSS) was the latest example of a continuing reign of state terror and corporate oppression " he said
Bhattacharya charged the NDA in Jharkhand with pushing the state into abyss of anarchy and said the BJP first talked of withdrawing supportand then "shamelessly put the proposal on hold to explore the possibility of foisting some BJP leader as the next chief minister", he added.
