RJD protests 'undeclared censorship on the media'

RJD leaders staged a day-long dharna in Patna on May 20, 2010 in protest against "undeclared censorship on the media".

Later, a RJD delegation urged Bihar governor Debanand Konwar to direct the state government to lift, what they described as, "undeclared censorship on the media".

A six-member delegation of RJD led by its state president Abdul Bari Siddiqui and deputy leader in the state assembly Shakeel Ahmed Khan called on Konwar at Raj Bhavan.
Ttalking to reporters, Khan said it was unfortunate that the Nitish Kumar government had stopped giving advertisements to newspapers thrice during the past over four years.
