Samrat Choudhary’s Delhi Visit: High-Level Meeting Focuses on Bihar’s Key Issues

Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary left for Delhi on his two-day visit to Delhi on August 21, 2026. The Chief Minister met External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and held meeting. The meeting was attended by Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary and JD(U) national working president Sanjay Jha.

Chief Secretary Pratyay Amrit and several senior Bihar government officials were also present. This clearly indicated that the visit was not limited to political meetings, but also involved discussions on major administrative and development issues concerning Bihar.
