Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar distributed high yielding variety of seeds at half the price to select farmers at a government organized function at SK Memorial hall in Patna on October 9, 2009.Bihar’s Deputy Chief Minister SK Modi, Water Resources Minister Bijendra Prasad Yadav, Agriculture Minister Renu Kumari and Cooperative Minister Giriraj Singh were present in the function.
Bihar Chief Minister also released a book on Agriculture Road Map of Bihar in the function.
