Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar flagged off the buses carrying the first batch of about 400 pilgrims for Haj pilgrimage from Haj Bhawan in Patna on October 20, 2009.After particpating in the mass prayer Chief Minister Nitish Kumar urged the pilgrims to pray for happiness, peace and prosperity of their family and also for the harmony and development of Bihar.
Bihar's Minority Welfare Minister Shahid Ali Khan also participated in the function.
