Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the ghats on the bank of river Ganga in Patna on October 18, 2009 keeping in view of the Chhath Puja festival and sudden increase in water level of Ganga.The Chief Minister directed the officials to take help of Google Earth for locating the unsafe ghats. He also directed to make all necessary arrangements for the the safety and security of Chhath puja devotees.
