Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar paid floral tributes to Veer Kuer Singh at Martyr's Day function in Patna on April 28, 2010.The Chief Minister also inaugurated the function that was organised to mark the martyrdom of Veer Kuer Singh. Nitish Kumar also released a book on Veer Kuer Singh on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar announced that Ara-Chapra road bridge over the river Ganga would be named after Veer Kuer Singh.
