Patna Police resorted to lathicharge and lobbed teargas shells to disperse a rally of fairprice shop dealers at Dak Bungalow crossing in Patna on November 4, 2009. According to reports, ten persons were injured in the lathicharge.Hundreds of fiarprice shop dealers assembling here from different districts of Bihar took out a procession demanding government job. The rally created an unprecedented traffic jam on Patna roads. Police also arrested seven agitators.
