Curtains came down on Mahua Channel’s mega reality show Sur Sangram at a grand finale organised at sprawling Gandhi Maidan in Patna on November 6, 2009 evening.Bhojpuri film stars Manoj Tiwari and Ravi Kissen along with galaxy of other stars including Sambhavana Seth captivated thousands of Bhojpuri music fans who thronged the venue since after noon.
It was a real tough time to judge the Number One between the two finalists Alok Kumar of Bihar and Mohan Rathore of Uttar Pradesh. The organizers declared Mohan and Alok joint winners stating that the SMS polls had the difference of less than 2.5 per cent between the finalists.
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) president and former Railway Minister Lalu Prasad, Lok Janashakti Party (LJP) chief Ram Vilas Paswan gave away the prizes. Bihar Health Minister Nand Kishore Yadav and several other dignitaries were present at the function.
Winners got a cheque of Rs 25 lakh each.

I really appreciate the Mahua channel in organising the Realty show to promote Bhojpuri language. Performances of some of the new artists are excellent and they should be encouraged. Both Maliniji and Kalpanaji are doing excellent job in guiding and correcting the new artists. I have a few suggestions for you, if you could consider for future programmes

ReplyDeleteno doubt chhavi pandey is the awesome singer as well as she is very beautiful....she was the KOHINOOR in the jwel of sur sangram.....her performence was the best in the finale....she have to deserves to be in the finals....plz post her all photographs of finale as soon as possible....coz i'm crazy about her....Ritesh, Delhi
