Bandaru Dattatreya lays foundation stone of 100-bed ESIC hospital in Phulwarisharif




Patna: Union Labour and Employment Minister Bandaru Dattatreya laid the foundation stone of 100-bed Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) hospital in Phulwarisharif here on Tuesday.

Addressing the function he said Anganwadi,  Asha workers and workers of the unorganized sectors would be included in the ESIC schemes soon. “Central Government is serious about it”, he said.

He said the ESIC model hospital would be upgraded to a super specialty hospital with 200 beds facility. For this the Central Government would grant Rs 150 crore, he added.

“There are 18 ESIC dispensaries in Bihar. If State Government provides us land we will construct model hospital in every places”, he said.


Union Minister Ram Kripal Yadav, Bihar Labour Minister Vijay Prakash, MLA Shyam Rajak, Rajya Sabha member RK Sinha, MLA Arun Kumar Sinha and MLA Asha Devi were present on the occasion.
