Patna: "The root cause of child labour is social and economic inequalities", said Bihar Labour Resources Minister Vijay Prakash while delivering the inaugural address in a seminar on "Stepping stones for creating child labour free zones" organised by Stop Child Labour Programme in association with Campaign Against Child Labour, Bihar.
He said: "Population wise we have 46 per cent children less than 18 years of age and we have to take care of their education for building a healthy society".
