Patna set to have biggest children park at Gandhi Maidan



Patna: Historic Gandhi Maidan is all set to welcome kids in the biggest children park of the state capital with 42 different kinds of amusement and play machines on May 20.

The park spreads in a 10000 square feet land will have the play things for all age groups.

Patna divisional commissioner Anand Kishor, who inspected the progress of construction work on Saturday, said the park would accommodate 250 children at a time.

"The park will provide 42 different types of entertainment and play equipment to children so that they can make their park visit a memorable one", he said.

He also directed the agency to complete the work by May 15 so that the Park could be declared open for public on May 20.

The park will have Micky Mouse paintings in its boundary which will be made by poly-carbonate  sheets.

The park will also have high quality and aesthetic bench where kids and their parents could rest for a while.

Kishor said the entry fee of the park would be Rs 5 per person and the park would remain open from 5am to 8pm.
