BSEB chairman Anand Kishor said the decision had been taken
as per the guidelines given by the education department to give a chance to
maximum possible candidates in the examination.
Now, trained candidates as well as physically challenged
persons will get 10 years age relaxation in upper age limit.
The minimum age for application will remain 18 years for basic grade candidates while the minimum age for under graduate grade will be
21 years. The upper age limit will remain the same as fixed by the government.
The candidates appearing in the final year examination of
the two-year BEd course, four-year BSc BEd
or equivalent course or two years Basic Training course after
Intermediate can now apply for the written test that will be held on June 11
next.
The BSEB will publish a revised version of the TET notice
soon.
The online registration for TET has begun on April 8 and the
last date of submitting e-challan is April 27.
