Don Bosco Academy teacher dies in road mishap







Patna: Pal of gloom descended at the Don Bosco Academy following the death of a teacher, Deepak, who was crushed to death by a speeding Hyva truck near his school here on Thursday.

The deceased Deepak, who was on his way to school on his motorcycle in the morning, was hit in the back by a speeding Hyva. The intensity of the strike was as high as Deepak felt on the ground hitting his face hard on the road.

Some residents of the locality rushed to the spot to help Deepak but before any one could take him to nearby hospital, he died on the spot. Despite wearing a helmet, Deepk suffered serious head injures in the accident.

Police seized the body of the deceased and sent it for postmortem examination. Police also seized the Hyva and were looking for the driver to arrest him.

The news spread like a wildfire as entire school was engulfed into a state of shock and sorrow. Deepak recently joined the Don Bosco Academy.

His colleagues stated that he was a mild and soft-spoken person.

Later, school organized a condolence meeting as students and teachers paid tributes to departed soul. The school, however, was called off for the day.


School principal Mary Alphonsa declared the school closed for Friday and Saturday to mourn teacher’s death.
